Saturday 2-3pm

-VFX/CGI Supervisor, Dean Lyon, is back by popular demand after a wildly successful seminar at the 1st L-DUB Film Festival.  As a successful VFX Supervisor and Entrepreneur, Dean will be providing a detailed, introspective look at the relationship between VFX and the film making process.  The session will be devoted to analyzing various films and video clips to determine how they were created, followed by discussing the potential of how to improve on the overall process, a review of past and present theories and techniques and a review of strategies for budgeting, planning and applying cutting edge technologies.    

Saturday 3-4pm

-Film Critic, Dan Hudak, will be providing an insider’s view on film festivals from a judge’s perspective.  Dan has worked extensively as a film critic in print, radio, television and online with ESPN, ABC News, Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, CNN, indieWire and Sun-Sentinel to name a few.  The Q&A seminar will focus on showcasing films that were successfully executed with low budgets from the perspective on what a judge looks for.

-The Palm Beach County Film Commission will have a seasoned representative to provide information and advice on filmmaking in Palm Beach County in a comprehensive Q & A session.

-Hollywood actor, Garrett M. Brown, will be conducting a Q&A seminar that is a must for up and coming actors, filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike.  Entitled How Do We Get Here From There?, it is a seminar for those wondering how a guy who was going to be a doctor in college ended up on stage and on TV and in films – and still wishes he could be a doctor – only now as a juicy role!

-Filmmaker, Frank Eberling will share his experiences and information on the steps it takes to get your film off the ground.  He will motivate you and show you how you can make it happen for yourself in today's cut-throat industry in his seminar entitled Producing Your First Micro-Budget Film.  Frank Eberling has been a filmmaker in South Florida for forty years, producing 3,000 film and television broadcast projects as producer, writer, director and cinematographer. His work has earned him an Emmy, a Cine Golden Eagle, six Telly’s and several other prestigious writing and producing awards.

Sunday 4-5pm

-Screenwriter, Michael Chasin, will be hosting a talk on screenwriting and dramatic structure.  Michael is a local South Florida screenwriter and multiple award winning filmmaker (including Best Screenplay) with experience ranging from writing, directing, editing, producing, consulting and instructing.  In addition, he has had past experience as a film festival screenplay judge.   The Football Game as a Screenplay will be a seminar focusing on the dramatic structure in film to assist filmmakers in creating tight, focused and enticing screenplays.

On the day of the hit, Lenny talks with his friend Fred when Mara, Lenny’s wife, barges in. Lenny orders Mara out reminding her of the restraining order. Lenny tells Fred he will drop by Hal’s Bar in a bit to see Sara, his new girlfriend. Lenny tells Sara he is making Mara wait for the final divorce papers. Lenny goes home and is met by a police officer. The officer tells Lenny that Mara was killed during an apparent robbery and the perp was killed during the arrest attempt.
