Course Description
Playhouse Broadway Dance Classes are for anyone, regardless of skill level, interested in learning to dance for theatre and stage. Students will learn choreographed dance numbers from
popular
Broadway shows, staged in class by a professional choreographer.
Course Instructor
Ricky Nahas is a musical theatre performer, choreographer and dance teacher from New York City. He has spent the past 11 years performing in national tours, regional theatre and in theatre productions throughout Europe. He recently joined the Lake Worth Playhouse as the lead instructor for the education program. He has also choreographed recent Playhouse productions of RENT, Oklahoma and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ricky has choreographed
middle school, high school and college show choirs, and he has taught musical theatre dance master classes for all ages. His recent performance credits include: Radames in Aida, Mungo Jerry in Cats, swing and dance captain in the Des Moine, Iowa company of Altar Boyz and swing in the National Tour of Saturday Night Fever.
