“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” - Oscar Wilde

The Lake Worth Playhouse is offering an exciting opportunity for high school and college students to continue their creative learning through interactive internships in the performing arts.
What is involved in a Playhouse internship?
Interns will gain professional experience under the direction of well-established theatre professionals and will be provided with a one-of-a-kind chance to showcase their talents in our summer productions.
Openings are available for interns interested in:
- directing, assistant directing, stage managing
- sound, voice, choreography
- set design, lighting, make-up
- children’s theatre education
Will I be paid?
Interns may be compensated monetarily, with school credit hours or community service hours depending upon education and experience level.
How do I apply?
Just fill out an Internship Application and submit it, along with your attachments, by April 30, 2010 to the Lake Worth Playhouse via fax, mail, or in person at the Box Office.
