Founded in 1953, the Lake Worth Playhouse is an institution that enriches lives by fostering a passion for the performing arts.
Against all odds (hurricanes, economic crisis), the Playhouse persevered for 67 years because of the passion and tireless support of its community.
We now face the biggest challenge of our history and we need your help.
As we all are aware; the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic has brought the world to a standstill. The uncertainty of our current situation affects every facet of our lives. The Playhouse is being greatly impacted by this crisis. The suspension of our live events, productions and films has left the Playhouse and our staff in a perilous position.
The economic uncertainty of this pandemic will require the community, individuals and businesses alike, to come together like never before in order to survive. We ask that you consider assisting us by investing in our future in the following ways.
The Lake Worth Playhouse is a non-profit community theatre that provides entertainment, education and opportunities for artistic expression
through volunteerism and community involvement and support.
“Here at the Lake Worth Playhouse, we want all of our staff and volunteers to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes them unique.”
The Lake Worth Playhouse is wheel chair friendly and provides accessible seating
for persons with disabilities.
